How to reach us
• By Plane
From Venice's Marco Polo International Airport, take the 'Alilaguna' shuttle boat that leaves every hour for St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco) (travel time approximately 1 hour 20 minutes). Alternatively, take a cab or ACTV bus number 5. On arrival at Piazzale Roma (Venice car terminal), take water bus line 1 or 2 (N after midnight) as far as the 'San Marco/Vallaresso' stop. From here, walk along the alley bearing the same name as far as St. Mark's Square.
• By car
Exit at the A4 turnpike toll booth and follow directions for Venice/Piazzale Roma. Park at one of the square's paid parking areas and board a boat for San Marco, getting off at the 'San Marco/Vallaresso' stop. You will reach the Royal San Marco Hotel in around 40 minutes. Alternatively, take a water taxi to San Marco.
• By Train
The “Santa Lucia” station in Venice is close to the landing point for the water buses to San Marco (lines 1 and 2 and line N after midnight); boats leave every 10 minutes; take one of these boats as far as the 'San Marco/Vallaresso' stop. Alternatively, take a water taxi to San Marco.
N.B: on reaching St. Mark's Square, cross the square, with the Basilica on your right as far as the Procuratie Vecchie. Take the Sottoportego dei Dai, pass the Ponte dei Dai and continue along the alley. You will soon see the entrance of the Royal San Marco Hotel to your right.
